Meet Angela, our Community Coordinator in Cibeles

Meet Angela, our Community Coordinator in Cibeles

November 25 / 2019

Angela De Benedictis, of Venezuelan origin, has been our Cloudworks ambassador in Madrid for almost a year. Thanks to her experience in the sector, we have been able to gradually boost the Cloudworks community in the capital. She is always at the ready, promoting innovative initiatives for our coworking spaces, therefore being the person of reference for everyone at Cloudworks Cibeles.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. What did you do before working at Cloudworks and how did you get here?

I have been working in the world of coworking for more than two years. I started as part of a coworking community called LOOM, from which I learned a lot. I was at a cross roads and I needed a change, a new professional and personal challenge. And that’s how I got to know Cloudworks, I just knew I would love this project, it was just what I was looking for.

How is a day in your life? What is your role in Cloudworks?

The stage in which we are right now in Cloudworks Cibeles is really interesting, it’s where we have the challenge of forming a community and achieving that connection that characterizes us among the people who form it. One of the things I enjoy the most in my routine, is to meet our coworkers and see how they start getting to know each other.

How would you describe Cloudworks Cibeles?

It’s a location with a lot of potential and a bright future. This is undoubtedly a privileged place to work in the center of Madrid. Not only because of the great views we have, but also because of the very powerful community we are forming.

What do you like the most about working at Cloudworks?

To share and connect with people from other countries.

What is the biggest challenge of your job?

Honestly, having a clear goal. To ensure that the work environment among all coworkers is pleasant and those interesting synergies are achieved between them.

What advice would you give to a Cloudworks member?

Rather than giving advice, I always try to show my support and offer the necessary help in everything they need.

What TV show, podcast or social media account do you recommend?

I recommend @valendeviaje and @arianuchis. I’m more into following profiles that give me value and in which I can learn something that interests me, especially based on the nutritional issue, such as the @stefyactiva account. In addition to being our coworker, I’ll always recommend accounts that show the natural goodness and beauty of my country: Venezuela.

Do you have any hobbies?

When I leave work, I go directly to bootcamp, it’s part of my daily routine and without a doubt I enjoy it very much.

Your biggest learning curve has been:

The experience of having lived in two countries other than my own. It has been an experience that has given me constant learning, which I appreciate and thank very much. Adapting and starting from scratch certainly helps to grow personally and enriches you in many aspects.
